Will Elder Scrolls VI be a multi-platform game?
Bethesda Studios have confirmed that they will be using the same engine (Creation Engine 2) to develop both Starfield and Elder Scrolls VI and as per our research, it looks like Elder Scrolls VI will be released exclusively on PC and Xbox consoles.
PlayStation gamers might get disappointed however, Todd Howard (Game Director) has stated “It would be hard to imagine not bringing the game to multiple platforms” and even the CFO of Xbox (Tim Stuart) stated that they don’t have any intentions of taking out all Bethesda’s content from Sony or Nintendo.

So tons of Elder Scrolls fans believe that the sixth game will be set in Hammerfell and I’ll tell you why. On December 31, 2020, on New Year’s Eve, Bethesda Studios posted a New Year message on their Twitter account it included a Skyrim map and they stated “Transcribe the past and map the future”.
Fans quickly noticed that one of the candles on the map was placed at a location beyond the borders of Skyrim and it was labeled as Hamerfell.
Well, these are all speculations as we do not have any concrete information about where Elder Scrolls VI will be set.

The developers of Elder Scrolls VI have confirmed that the game is still in pre-production and will be developed using the same engine as Starfield, we can also speculate that the developing team of both Starfield and Elder Scrolls VI might be the same and they fully start to work on the game once Starfield is released.
Todd Howard also stated in an interview that they need to design the new Elder Scrolls VI in such a way that players play it for a decade at least and this proves how serious the developers are about this new Elder Scrolls title.
