As you must already be aware, the game development studio responsible for the development of Stalker 2, GSC Game World, is based in Ukraine. With the ongoing Ukraine-Russia war situation, the game’s development has suffered significantly. This has led to several postponements in the release of the game. It was revealed in March 2022 that a few members of the development team have shifted to Prague to ensure smooth game development.
The consequences of war were also reflected in the title of the game as the spelling of Chernobyl was changed to Chornobyl.
